Mobile Mediq is a mobile nursing clinic operating in the Greater Montreal Area. It’s goal is to provide patients with an easy and intuitive way to book at-home nursing appointments.
Challenge
Create a new site, style guide, and implement a booking system so that patients could request their appointments directly via the website. The new site would need to be fully responsive and easy for users to navigate on mobile screens. The ultimate goal being a more informed, polished and seamless user experience.
Design Process
The design process began with a competitive analysis of the other market players to see what was being offered in the B2C mobile healthcare space. The goal was to identify the target audience and determine the needs of the end user. The next step was to sit down with the primary stakeholder to gather requirements and determine the website’s goals, functionality, and content requirements. This involved determining what pages would be necessary, the essential features of each and the website should achieve.
The first step once all requirements were gathered was to develop the information architecture through a site map.

Visual Design
Layouts were drafted for key pages, with a focus on content placement and functionality. Through an iterative process with the stakeholders, refinements were done to improve usability, flow, and overall aesthetics. The goal was to create a cohesive visual identity in line with the clinic’s branding. A style guide was created in order to facilitate a design identity. Link to live site below.
